Oshima and the Big SeaJamie and Ella from Angel Heart Theatre put on a fantastic puppet play at the hall on Saturday October 10th. It was an engrossing story of based around Oshima who every day goes fishing in his little tub boat. He hopes he will catch a really big fish - but never does. Maybe it’s because he’s just too busy daydreaming about what it must be like under the Big Sea. One day Oshima has a big adventure and gets the chance to find out…

It was wonderful to see the children captivated by the show which engaged their imagination in a way that is seen too little nowadays.

Jamie and Ella kindly stayed behind at the end so that the children (and adults!) could come up to look and talk to the puppets. It was a great afternoon and we hope to see them back very soon.
